03 What data is processed

No trackers, no cookies of our own – we only process what you write to us yourself.

Server log files

When you access the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which our web server stores in log files. This generally comprises: the page accessed, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, the previously visited page (referrer) and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources and serves solely to ensure the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in technically faultless and secure operation.

No cookies, no tracking, no newsletter

The website sets no cookies of its own, embeds no analytics, advertising or social media services and creates no usage profiles. There is no newsletter.

If you write to us by email or call us, we process the information you provide solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Contact forms

Two forms are available on the contact page: one for private customers and one for pharmacies and trade customers. We process only the details you enter yourself – depending on the form, your name or the pharmacy and contact person, your email address, optionally a telephone number, address and customer number, and your message.

The details are not stored in a database; they are forwarded directly as an email to our inbox and handled there like any other correspondence. We use them solely to deal with your enquiry and do not pass them on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (the consent you give when submitting the form) as well as Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time without formality.

To guard against automated submissions, the form contains an additional field that is invisible to humans and checks the time between page load and submission. No external service (such as a captcha provider) is involved.

Google Fonts – typefaces from external servers

This website loads the “Manrope” typeface via the Google Fonts service from servers operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A connection to Google is established when the page is loaded, in the course of which visitors’ IP addresses are transmitted to Google. Transfer to third countries, in particular to the USA, cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent presentation of the website).

Recommendation: we recommend hosting the font files locally on your own web server. Any connection to Google is then eliminated, no IP address is transmitted to third parties, and this section of the privacy policy can be removed entirely. The technical effort involved is minimal.

04 Retention

How long data is retained.

  • Server log files: deleted as soon as they are no longer required for operational purposes – usually after 30 days at the latest. The actual period depends on the hosting provider’s configuration and must be confirmed before this policy is published.
  • Email correspondence: retained for as long as required to deal with your request. Beyond that, statutory retention obligations apply, in particular commercial and tax law periods.
  • Form enquiries: the forms do not create a database of their own. Your details exist as an email in the inbox and are therefore subject to the same period as the rest of our email correspondence.
  • No further records: as the website uses neither user accounts nor tracking, no further personal data records arise.
